Etymologically derives from the Singhalese tern “turmaali” which means mixed colors. This stone is believed to boost self-confidence, intuition, sensitivity, creativity, understanding and inspiration. Also, it is said that this stone revitalizes the body and mind, serves as an antidepressant, dissolves fears and negativity, increase our pranic receptivity and calms the nerves.
