Lapis Lazuli Anklet - Round Stone
These beautiful anklets are hand crafted by the Auroville Unit Aurosunshine. The silver (92.5) is melted in Auroville and the stones are carefully selected with an eye for detail, naturalness and purity.
Stone: Lapis Lazuli (Sodium Calcium Aluminum Sulfate Silicate, with traces of Hauynite, Sodalite, Pyrite and other minerals)
The stone is also called Lazulite. It is said to symbolize expression, intuition and creativity. This stone is looked upon as being a great support against inhibitions and communication issues. The small pieces of pyrite, which are often beautifully visible and look like gold have been said to symbolize wisdom. The stone was praised by many, in Egypt (as fragments fallen from the celestial sky), in Hebraic traditions (Moses inscribed on tablets made of Lapislazuli) and by Buddhists. It has been suggested by some that the stone reduces allergies, sinusitis and inflammations.
