These beautiful anklets are hand crafted by the Auroville Unit Aurosunshine. The silver (92.5) is melted in Auroville and the pearls are carefully selected with an eye for detail, naturalness and purity.
Stone: Pearl (Calcium carbonate with organic substances and water)
The white pearl is said to symbolize purity and sincerity. For those interested in archetypes, it is seen as the archetype of maternity and purity. The pearl is said to reduce egoism and increase the sense of responsibility and faith. Pearls are seen as the mystic inner center, free from external conditions. They have also been known as the gem between the eyebrows of the Buddha. Furthermore, Krishna is said to have given his daughter pearls for her wedding.
