The book, meant for all who appreciate the things Auroville stands for, tries to capture the insights and inspirations for one’s joy and enrichment from Karan Singh’s charismatic persona while presiding over the Auroville Foundation for the major span of its existence. The book has six parts constituting Karan Singh’s speeches in and on Auroville, a selection from interviews, letters and articles on Auroville and assorted topics of interest. There is also a special addendum “Light on Karan Singh” which contains reminiscences and perceptions on Karan Singh from many scholars and prominent figures from across the globe. The book contains plenty of striking pictures of Karan Singh in Auroville and at the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry over the span of 50 years.
